The Collegiate Players Tour, starting its 17th year, is designed to provide summer golf competition for college-age men and women. Every effort is made to make the competition affordable, convenient, and above all, fun for the competitors. The CPT is sanctioned by both college golf associations, (men) Golf Coaches Association of America, and (women) National Golf Coaches Association, and the USGA.

The Tour runs from the first week of June through the third week of August, and entries are on a "first come, first served" basis.
